june :)

i've not blogged for a while. i'm a disgrace to the blogging world.
oh well.

so life :) life is good! have finished all my exams, some went well, some not so well, but oh well :) way too many "well"s in that sentence. and am now back to college to start a2 courses, which with the exception of biology and maths, i'm looking forward to :) am going to make the most of my last year at college, work hard but have fun :)

have had a lovely couple of weekends recently. two weeks ago, i went to a church picnic at wem baptist church, which was amazingly sunny, and really good :) and then this last weekend, i went to a church fun day at a church near wem which involved more sun, croquet (which i can't say i was that great at), a golf thing (or that) and then a big game of rounders :) had a lovely time getting to know people there. then had another lovely day on the sunday going to the services at wem, and spending an afternoon with the lord family and a few others watching the football... all in all, a really really good weekend :)

am SO looking forward to summer- a family holiday in spain, and camp! only thing missing is my new quay UBM (beach mission) which i will really, really miss :(

pretty much an update of the last few weeks really :) am just generally really happy at the moment :)

am going to start taking my camera whenever i go on days out now, and add some to the blog! no pictures so far, another disgrace.

starting filling in my ucas application for university, scary, scary stuff. i don't feel old enough to be doing that!

been thinking a lot recently about what i want to do at university- i've wanted to study medicine for years, but have changed my mind recently, for a number of reasons that i'd glossed over before, i think. or not thought of. it's been a really hard decision, becuse it's been my ambition for a while now, but it's not going to work out for me.

slightly strangely, i'm now looking at doing a totally unrelated degree, and stuffing the sciences altogether! i think i'd now rather do an arts degree and then i can decide what to do with that once i'm done :) looking at international relations at the moment, perhaps with a language, most likely french, as that's what i'm studying now, but my favourite university (not that i've actually VISITED any) offers beginners spanish with it :) which could be an interesting option, i think. i'm looking at exeter, bath and bristol, but from the prospectuses and a LOT of research, i think i like exeter best so far :) it's exciting times, but lots of decision making to do!

this is rather an epic post, so i will stop now :) au revoir!
