as-level modules and as-level general studies this next week, so been revising :( i really struggle with getting worried for exams, but it's so comforting to know that
God has a plan for me and will always love me :)had cu yesterday, which is always
exciting to be part of, and had 12 people, which is encouraging :) i'm doing my first talk next week, which is scary stuff! even scarier, is that i'm talking about quiet times, and i can't say i've perfected mine to be honest, so that's been a challenge as well.
a friend from college is getting
baptised tomorrow, which is also
amazing, unfortunately i can't make it, but i reckon it takes guts to stand up for Jesus in such a public way.
aiming to spend less time on facebook this week, and more time with the book that is God's inspired, holy word! always a challenge to spend more time with God, but ultimately, He needs to be first in my life.
been listening to a song a lot recently, by Fernando Ortega, called Give me Jesus. it's super challenging, but a lovely song, it talks about how we should want Jesus alone, and how we should sort of give up the world for him?
In the morning, when I rise
In the morning, when I rise
In the morning, when I rise,
give me Jesus.
Give me Jesus,
Give me Jesus,
You can have all this world,
But give me Jesus.
When I am alone
When I am alone
When I am alone,
give me Jesus.
Give me Jesus,
Give me Jesus,
You can have all this world,
But give me Jesus.
When I come to die
When I come to die
When I come to die,
give me Jesus.
Give me Jesus,
Give me Jesus,
You can have all this world,
You can have all this world,
You can have all this world,
But give me Jesus.
